Main on Construction & Maintenance (MCM) is a proudly Australian-owned, family-founded business with over 25 years of experience in the construction, remedial, and maintenance sectors. What began as a small handyman operation in Pyrmont has grown into a respected name in the Australian construction industry delivering Tier 1-standard outcomes across Greater Sydney, Penrith, Newcastle, and Wollongong.

Daniel and Joseph Chaar are the visionary leaders behind MCM, transforming a two-man handyman business into a trusted construction and maintenance company delivering complex projects for Tier 1 clients and institutions. Since founding MCM in 2001, they’ve grown the business on a foundation of strategic thinking, relentless work ethic, and client-first delivery.
Joseph Chaar – Director
Joseph is a site-first leader with 25+ years in the construction industry. His steady, detail-driven approach ensures smooth delivery and client satisfaction, especially on high-profile projects like Barangaroo and One Sydney Harbour’s penthouse. Joseph’s presence on site reflects his personal commitment to quality, trust, and operational excellence.
Daniel Chaar – Managing Director
Daniel is a qualified builder and strategic leader who manages day-to-day operations while driving innovation and growth. His leadership style is proactive and grounded in solutions, which has helped MCM secure major projects and long-term partnerships. He’s also the entrepreneur behind Quick Skips and an advocate for doing things right, always.

With 15 years’ experience, Rohan leads MCM’s construction and remedial projects with technical depth and steady leadership. From stakeholder engagement to WHS compliance, Rohan pairs strategic oversight with on-the-ground precision, most notably at the University of Sydney.

Nathan leads remedial, refurbishment, and maintenance projects across residential and commercial sectors with a focus on quality and efficiency. Over eight years at MCM, he has delivered complex works, from large-scale repairs and upgrades to demolition and site renewals. A qualified builder and waterproofing technician across NSW and QLD, he brings strong technical capability to every stage of delivery. Antmon Emmanuel Boateng

As Office Manager and Executive Assistant to the Directors, she manages schedules, priorities, and key communications with precision and foresight.
